The Poetry Contest 2019 continues

We are in a hurry to remind all young poets that the Saby Foundation continues receipt of applications for participation in the Poetry Contest 2019.

For the past 9 years, the Saby Charitable Foundation has been holding a literary contest in the state language. Over the years, 15 children from all over the Republic of Kazakhstan have become laureates, 7 of them received educational grants from the Foundation to study in the best universities of the country amounting to a total of more than 13.3 million tenge, 8 participants were awarded valuable prizes. Also, 2 collections with the best works of the contestants were published, with a circulation of 1000 copies. Today, they who have already graduated from educational institutions work in large TV and radio companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan; they cooperate with national newspapers and online media.

In the near future we plan to make a documentary about the best poets who participated in our competition. The film will be directed by a well-known Kazakhstan documentary and photographer Kanat Beisekeev, who at one time received an excellent education at the New York Film Academy on an educational grant from the Saby Foundation.

Works for participation in the contest must be sent before May 31.
