Reconstruction of the Baldauren Center

From the very beginning of its activity and for the past 20 years, the Saby Foundation has been building, repairing and equipping social institutions throughout Kazakhstan.

As part of the “Construction Project”, the Foundation designed and built such large facilities as the Orphanage in Kyzylorda, the Meyirim Center for Social Adaptation for graduates of orphanages in Aktobe, and secondary school-gymnasium No. 174 in the Nauryzbai district of Almaty. All facilities were built entirely at the expense of the foundation and transferred to the state free of charge.

In addition to the construction of large-scale facilities, the foundation provides support to institutions in need of reconstruction and overhaul. One of these organizations is the Baldauren Children's Rehabilitation Center in Almaty. The center deals with the treatment of children with chronic diseases of the nervous system and respiratory organs. More than 2,000 children of the city are served here annually. The building of the medical institution was put into operation in 1982 and is currently in a deplorable state.

The foundation decided to carry out a major overhaul with the replacement of floors, doors, plumbing and electrics, with the alignment of walls and ceilings in all treatment units, bedrooms and playrooms, classrooms, exercise therapy rooms and a dining room. In addition, the author's design of the premises will be carried out, as well as new furniture, appliances and equipment will be purchased and installed. A children's playground will be installed in the courtyard of the Center for physical education.
