Saby Foundation built a school in Astana

The educational direction was and remains one of the most relevant in the activities of the Saby Foundation. For 21 years of work in this direction, many projects have been implemented: specialized trainings for children and teachers of social institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, career guidance and preparation courses for UNT, the issuance of educational grants to the best universities of Kazakhstan and abroad, support for talented children and youth, and the organization of fully equipped robotics centers in the regions of the country. In addition, the Foundation was built by the Center for Social Adaptation of Youth in Aktobe, as well as a school-gymnasium in Almaty.

And today we are pleased to report that in the city of Astana, work on the construction of the State Grand School “Zerde” is being completed. The school is completely built on the private funds of the founders of the Saby Foundation - Aselle Tasmagambetova and Kenes Rakishev.

A four-story building with an area of 9,929 sq.m is designed for 750 student places. It is built according to the highest technical standards and complies with the Concept “Comfortable School”. The area of sports and gaming zones is 2 926 sq.m.

Thus, this is the third school, built by the founders of our foundation.

The first is a comprehensive school-gymnasium No. 174 for 1200 seats in the Nauryzbai district of Almaty. The gymnasium was built by the Saby Foundation and gifted to the city in 2017.

The second is a private school named after Shokan Walikhanov, which opened its doors in 2020. This is the first and only object of education in the CIS, which received the LEED certificate, indicating that the school is built on all international environmental standards.

And the new School “Zerde” will accept the first students from the beginning of the third quarter of the current school year.

In all three educational institutions, the educational process is established taking into account the best international practices and equal access to quality education. In total, about 30 billion tenge were spent on various projects in the educational field of the RK.
