Saby Foundation purchased medicines, ALV and concentrators for the Atyrau region

As everyone is aware, a difficult situation has been developed in the Atyrau region due to a sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 cases. According to official information, the number of infected people in the region today is 9187. The epidemiological situation in the region is complicated by an acute shortage of necessary medicines and medical equipment in the city and district hospitals and pharmacies.

In this regard, the President of the Saby Foundation, Aselle Tasmagambetova, decided to purchase the most popular medicines and equipment for donation to the Atyrau region.

In the shortest possible time, the Foundation purchased 57,726 packages of medicines for the treatment of coronavirus for Atyrau, 1,000 medical masks, 10 ventilators, and 33 oxygen concentrators for use in intensive care units. The total amount of funds spent amounted to 128 million tenge.

With the assistance of the chief imam of the central mosque of Atyrau in cooperation with the city health department, all medicines will be distributed free of charge among patients undergoing outpatient treatment, strictly according to the prescription of the attending physician. Artificial lung ventilation and oxygen concentrators will be donated to city hospitals.
