Saby Foundation started construction of emergency pediatric surgery in Atyrau

We are glad to inform all friends and partners of our Foundation that the work on the organization of the department of emergency pediatric surgery in the city of Atyrau has begun. This is the fifth department to be opened by the Saby Foundation as part of its Emergency Pediatric Surgery project launched in 2018.

Thanks to this project, today in Almaty, Semey, Aktau and Petropavlovsk on the basis of state hospitals there are modern surgical units organized according to international standards and equipped with the most advanced medical equipment. Now a world-class high-tech emergency surgical service will work in Atyrau.

In addition to construction and equipment, after the opening of each surgical department, the Foundation holds a series of master classes for local doctors from honored pediatric surgeons of Russia and Kazakhstan. It also organizes training and advanced training courses for Kazakhstani specialists.

The decision to develop the medical industry in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan was made by the Saby Foundation not by chance: open surgical departments serve the children's population not only of the city, but also of all nearby settlements. Every year, thousands of emergency operations are performed here, saving the lives of young patients. The goal of the Foundation is to provide high-quality, effective emergency medical and rehabilitation assistance to children in the regions of Kazakhstan.
