Last summer Nurbanu Konayeva requested us to allocate her a grant for a master's degree at Tallinn University of Technology, listed as one of the best technical universities of the world.
Nurbanu has chosen a rare but a very promising area such as Cyber Safety. Her choice of career was influenced by her love for mathematics. In future, the girl is planning to work in data protection departments and develop her management and leadership skills.
Nurbanu graduated with honours from Süleyman Demirel University with a degree in “Information systems” and has numerous certificates and awards in this field.
Under the Alem programme on support for gifted young people, Saby Charitable Foundation approved Nurbanu Konayeva’s application and provided an education grant for two years for her postgraduate studies at Tallinn University of Technology. Besides, Saby Charitable Foundation will cover the cost of food, accommodation and flights from Kazakhstan to Estonia and from Estonia to Kazakhstan during the period of study.
Nurbanu is sharing her impressions of student life in Estonia in “Alem Student’s Diary”:
