Today a press conference has been held in Almaty on the occasion of the launch of a bus tourist route for disabled persons

Today a press conference has been held in Almaty on the occasion of the launch of a bus tourist route for disabled persons On 11th July, the first excursion day-off routes started around city places of interest for those persons, who undergo special difficulties in moving, including wheelchair users, many of whom found themselves outdoors for the first time during many years, and could fully feel pace of life of the present- day megapolis. The students and teachers of the KIMEP became the organizers of the campaign.

A social adaptation of disabled persons is the primary task under the Project of our Foundation «Decent Life for Disabled Persons», under which we have been working over two years. It is specially developed to rehabilitate and integrate into the social medium disabled persons. Thus, when an initiative team of the youth from the KIMEP made a request for the organization of a tourist route for disabled persons, we readily supported it.

Saby Foundation saw the way to give two “Invataxi” vehicles with drivers and necessary fuels and lubricants for the period of the campaign.

The ability to move allows disabled persons to take an active part in the life of the society. And it is pleasant in particular that this problem worries the youth – the future of our country.
