We are in a hurry to inform all young poets that the Saby Foundation has extended the acceptance of applications for participation in the Poetry Competition-2021. Young authors aged from 7 to 24 years old, writing in the state language, can participate in the Competition. Place of residence, citizenship and nationality do not matter.
We would also like to bring to your attention a series of documentaries about the best poets who participated in our competition. The director was a well-known Kazakhstani documentary filmmaker and photographer Kanat Beysekeyev, who at one time received a prestigious education at the New York Film Academy on an educational grant from the Saby Foundation.
Today we will tell you about one of the first winners of the poetry competition. In 2012, Akzharkyn Mutieva from Atyrau region won the main prize of the competition – a laptop and an educational grant to study at the Kazakh National University named after I. Al-Farabi.
