The Saby Foundation continues the over-haul renovation in the family type homes of Almaty SOS Children Village. This is the second house, the renovation of which begun at the end of June, and is completely ready for the cozy and comfortable living of children left without parental care.
Just as last time, we completely updated the heating system, water supply and sewage utility networks, installed new bathroom and lavatory equipment, replaced floor cloth, tiles, wallpaper, changed doors, bought new lamps, restored windows, refreshed the facade and laid paving stones around the cottage. Kitchen and hallway furniture were also made on by order basis.
Besides, we were able to purchase new cooking surface, kitchen hoods, ovens and washing machines due to the kind involvement of Sulpak Company, which kindly provided us with a discount to purchase household appliances.
Currently, the Foundation has begun renovating the third cottage, which we plan to finish in the second half of September.
