We provide sustainable support for all projects implemented by our Foundation. One of them is the Center for Social Adaptation of youth “Meirim”, built by the Saby Foundation in 2017 in Aktobe. A business trip to “Meirim” was organized by an employee of our Foundation, in order to understand how much the work in the center coincides with the goals contemplated during its construction, and to learn first-hand all the latest news.
91 graduates live and work in the Center. All of them are former graduates of special residential institutions. During their stay here, from the age of 18 to 29, children must prepare for further independent life, which means they must undergo rehabilitation, social adaptation, get the necessary knowledge and find a job.
Our Foundation tries to help the Center by virtue of its competence. In particular, we have arranged for students to take courses at the Moscow online University of demanded professions "Skillbox" on free distance learning. In addition, we are working to ensure that they have a chance to be awarded an educational grants to study in popular Russian Universities.
It should be noted that when designing the “Meirim” center, special attention was paid to its inclusivity, that is, creating all conditions for living for children with disabilities, including those who use wheelchairs. Therefore, our employee also had this issue under control.
We thank the guys and the administration of the center for their warm welcome and willingness to cooperate.
