The work of pediatric emergency surgery in Semey

President of the Saby Foundation Aselle Tasmagambetova, as part of her trip to Semey, visited the Department of Emergency Pediatric Surgery, built and opened by the Foundation in January 2020 in the Children's Hospital at the University Hospital.

The surgery was equipped with the most advanced medical equipment, the best conditions were created to provide effective emergency and rehabilitation care for children.

The department receives about 36,000 calls per year and processes up to 30 emergency hospitalizations per day. Since the opening, 723 complex operations have been performed in the operating units equipped by the Foundation. Thanks to endoscopic equipment and a laminar flow system, the risks of postoperative complications in children and the rehabilitation time have been significantly reduced.

The average stay of small patients in the hospital has also decreased - complete recovery after surgical treatment occurs on the 7-10th day.

Aselle Imangalievna was met by doctors trained by leading surgeons of Kazakhstan and Russia, also organized and financed by our Foundation, as well as by the leadership of the Semey University Hospital and the head of the Health Department.
