Assistance from the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China

Many countries have united during this pandemic, offering each other assistance to fight the coronavirus. Our country has also received support from friendly countries more than once.

We would like to cover in particular the experience of cooperation with the Consulate General of the PRC in Almaty, which, right from the very beginning of the pandemic, organised a series of online conferences for our doctors with Chinese colleagues on the most relevant COVID-19 treatment algorithms. In addition, the Chinese partners have been repeatedly sending humanitarian supplies to Kazakhstan.

Recently, representatives of the Consulate have handed over a batch of children's medical masks to our Foundation from the SCO Chinese Committee for Friendship, Neighbourliness and Cooperation. This step was important and necessary, as children's masks, unlike those intended for adults, are not widely represented in our market, and are always required for medical institutions.

Our foundation, in turn, has donated the masks to the hospice for children suffering from oncological diseases "I Am With You" and the children's city clinical hospital No. 2 in Almaty.
