We are keen to share the good news of the Saby Foundation Educational Program. Three graduate pupils who attended our advanced mathematics courses for several years have successfully passed UNT and received state grants to study at universities in Kazakhstan. The students have chosen “Physics” and “Mathematics” as specialized subjects and, having passed examinations with great facility, enrolled in the technical specialties.
Also in March of the current year, the Saby Foundation took two Almaty SOS Children Village pupils to an intensive training course in physics and mathematics for admission to the Arystan specialized military lyceum. It is rather difficult to enter this educational institution and serious competitive selection is required. Four months of regular classes, maximum efforts on the part of teacher and pupilshad a meaningful effect. In August, the pupils successfully passed the entrance exams and were admitted to the lyceum. We are very happy for children!
Among other issues, testing on vocational guidance for twenty graduating pupils living in the Almaty SOS Children Village was organized. The test will allow pupils to determine their inclinations and more confidently approach the choice of a future profession.
