As part of a charitable partnership with the Saby Foundation, the jewelry house L’aroush donated state-of-the-art electrosurgical equipment to the Emergency Pediatric Surgery Department of the Semey Medical University JSC.
Under the project, the medical institution received a Valleylab VLFT10LSGEN electrosurgical ligation system — a modern, high-tech system designed for performing abdominal, thoracic, and urological surgeries in children.
The device ensures precise tissue dissection and coagulation, as well as reliable vessel sealing with minimal thermal impact, thanks to the intelligent adaptation of energy to tissue type and LigaSure™ technology.
The use of this equipment allows for an average reduction of 15–20 minutes per operation, decreases blood loss, and reduces the risk of complications. According to the medical institution, the equipment can be used for up to 250 operations per year, significantly expanding the capabilities of doctors and improving the quality of medical care for children in the region.
For many years, the Saby Foundation has systematically supported the development of healthcare in Kazakhstan, with a special focus on emergency pediatric care. Semey Medical University JSC is one of the foundation’s key beneficiaries. In 2020, the foundation built and fully equipped the Emergency Pediatric Surgery Department, which has become a center for specialized care for children in the East Kazakhstan region and neighboring areas.
“Supporting children’s healthcare is one of the key priorities of our work. We strive to comprehensively strengthen medical institutions with modern equipment so that doctors can provide care to children as effectively and safely as possible. The donation of this system is another step forward in developing surgical care in the region.
It is also worth noting that the Saby Foundation has maintained long-term cooperation with the private sector. Thanks to this collaboration, we are able to implement numerous socially significant initiatives, including important medical projects. We are always open to partnership and are confident that combining efforts leads to real and sustainable results,” said Assel Tasmagambetova, President of the Saby Charitable Foundation.
For L’aroush, participation in this project is a natural continuation of the brand’s social mission. Founded by a mother and daughter, the brand embodies values of care, generational continuity, and support for women and children. The charitable partnership with the Saby Foundation reflects L’aroush’s commitment not only to the world of aesthetics but also to making a tangible, socially meaningful impact.
“It is important for us that beauty has meaning. Supporting projects that truly help children and doctors save lives is a natural extension of L’aroush’s philosophy and our responsibility to society,” said Shynar Suendykova, co-founder of L’aroush.
