A nationwide environmental campaign titled “Plant a Tree in Honor of Assel Imangaliyevna Tasmagambetova” took place in Kazakhstan – dedicated to a woman who has devoted her life to serving society, protecting the environment, and advancing education and youth development in the country.
The final tree planting was held in Almaty, marking the symbolic conclusion of a large-scale project that, over the course of a month, united participants from various regions of Kazakhstan through a shared spirit of gratitude and inspiration.

The campaign brought together more than 350 participants from across the country, with 286 people joining the event in Almaty alone. Tree plantings were carried out in seven regions and cities of Kazakhstan – including Almaty, Zhetysu, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Kostanay, and Atyrau.
In total, over 350 trees were planted across the country, becoming symbols of gratitude and unity.

Each tree represents a gesture of appreciation, respect, and inspiration that Assel Imangaliyevna has given to people through her example, knowledge, and kind deeds.

In Almaty, participants planted a garden dedicated to Assel Imangaliyevna, with a plaque reading: “This apple orchard is planted in honor of Assel Imangaliyevna Tasmagambetova – as a symbol of kindness, inspiration, and love that she brings to people’s hearts.”

From Atyrau to Semey, from Kyzylorda to Almaty, young people planted trees on behalf of their regions, sending a unified message: “Thank you. You are our inspiration.”

At the final stage of the campaign, volunteers unfurled a 15×15-meter banner with the words: “Happy Birthday, Assel Imangaliyevna! Thank you!”

The campaign continued the values championed by Assel Imangaliyevna – supporting youth, developing regions, and caring for nature.
The mission of the project is to remind everyone that the good a person plants can grow into an entire forest of gratitude.
