For more than ten years, the\u00a0Saby Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0has been carrying out charitable events of the international level. Thus, to draw public attention to the problems of people in wheelchairs,\u00a0in 2008 the Foundation organized an international exhibition of contemporary art and a charity auction at the Christie\u2019s Auction House in London.\u00a0<\/strong>The proceeds for of $1,000,000 were used to purchase specially equipped taxis for the disabled, which were donated for the convenient movement of people with special needs in the regions of Kazakhstan.\u00a0In 2012, in New York, with the support of Christie\u2019s, Saby Foundation organized an exhibition of ancient Kazakh jewelry, as well as a charity auction<\/strong>\u00a0that brought the Foundation $1,000,000. The event became a real discovery of the culture of Kazakhstan for the Western public. The proceeds were used to implement a program supporting the talented Kazakh youth.<\/p>\n In Kazakhstan, the Foundation organized\u00a0charity evenings with such well-known world brands as Dior, Messika and Damiani<\/strong>, as a result of which a total of about $300,000 was raised for the implementation of the Emergency Children’s Surgery project.<\/p>\n Continuing the tradition of holding large-scale charitable events,\u00a0an exclusive charitable evening was held in Almaty<\/strong>\u00a0last week; it was organized by the cult\u00a0jewelry house Bvlgari and the Saby Foundation.<\/strong>\u00a0The event presented a special collection of the brand’s jewelry,\u00a0part of the proceeds from the sale<\/strong>\u00a0of which will be directed to the Foundation\u00a0for the construction of emergency pediatric surgery in Petropavlovsk.\u00a0<\/strong>Within the framework of the foundation\u2019s and its founders – Kenges Rakishev and Aselle Tasmagambetova – initiative, similar branches have already been created in\u00a0Almaty and Semey<\/strong>, another one will soon open in\u00a0Aktau<\/strong>. And now, thanks to the organizers and guests of the solemn event, a project will be launched in Petropavlovsk.<\/p>\n The honored guests were Kazakhstani professional boxer\u00a0Gennady Golovkin<\/strong>, Italian Ambassador to Kazakhstan\u00a0Pasquale D’Avino<\/strong>, Russian film director\u00a0Andrey Zvyagintsev<\/strong>, and Russian mixed-style fighter\u00a0Zubaira Tukhugov<\/strong>. Especially for the evening, the outstanding composer\u00a0Renat Gaisin<\/strong>\u00a0wrote the “Masterpieces of the Steppe” suite, which was performed by masters of the arts of Kazakhstan, among whom were fellows from the Saby Foundation vocalist Azamat Malyshov and violinist Omar Kuanyshev.<\/p>\n The culmination of the gala dinner was held the auction<\/strong>\u00a0with unique lots, including: boxing gloves autographed by Gennady Golovkin, a T-shirt autographed by Khabib Nurmagomedov, photo album \u201cBvlgari. Treasures of Rome\u201d autographed by actress Svetlana Khodchenkova, as well as a Bvlgari python leather purse.\u00a0100% of the proceeds<\/strong>\u00a0from the auction will also be\u00a0sent to Saby<\/strong>\u00a0for the construction of emergency pediatric surgery in Petropavlovsk.<\/p>\n The impressive amount of 210,632,000 tenge collected during the evening\u00a0<\/strong>was formed from 77.1 million from the auction and 133.5 million from the high jewelery and watchmaking works of Bvlgari purchased during the evening.<\/p>\n We would like to thank the invited guests<\/strong>\u00a0for their participation and support,\u00a0Renat Gaisin<\/strong>\u00a0for the impeccable organization, talent and professionalism, and\u00a0Gaukhar Abykayeva and the Bvlgari jewelry house<\/strong>\u00a0for a splendid evening and their trust.
