It is pleasant to observe the statistical figures showing that practically all children\u2019s social institutions are not overcrowded as formerly but, on the contrary, are near-empty. In many regions, the issue of orphanages merger and reorganization is raised.
The same statistics is true for the capital city. The latest data provided by the Astana Administration of Education show that 163 children<\/b> live in Kazakhstan state establishment Children\u2019s Home with the capacity of 250 people<\/b>. SOS Children\u2019s Village Astana is meant for 91 children<\/b> but only 67 children<\/b> live in it.
So, the construction of Children\u2019s Village of the family type for 100-140 children in Astana<\/b> planned by Saby Foundation<\/b> became inexpedient. In this connection, the administration of the Foundation took the decision to terminate the Memorandum with Astana Akimat and stop all works.
Certainly, it is impossible to return all the funds expended for preparation and legalization of documentation on the land plot, geological survey and topography, design of project, which is completely ready for the expertise, and other works. But taking into account the reason for project termination, and namely, that the children, for whom the construction has been planned, will live in real families with loving parents, we are not disappointed but, on the contrary, are glad with this fact.
As for the funds provided by the sponsors for the construction of the Children\u2019s Village, they will be used for the implementation of another project \u2013 construction of the Social hostel for the orphanage leavers with health disorders in the city of Aktobe<\/u>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
