The Saby Charitable Foundation, organized in 2002 by Kazakh entrepreneur Kenes Rakishev and ecologist Aselle Tasmagambetova, transferred 2.2 billion tenge to residents of Kulsary and Zhylyoi district of Atyrau region affected by floods.

The funds were used for the construction, purchase and renovation of housing, the purchase of building materials, household appliances and furniture, as well as reimbursement of other expenses caused by natural disasters.

The assistance program was developed by the Saby Foundation together with the Akimat of the Zhylyoi District of the Atyrau Region and the Atyrau Corporate Foundation. To date, assistance has been provided to more than 1,000 residents.

Thanks to the well-organized work of akimats, public funds and the personal control of the Head of State, hundreds of affected families in different regions of Kazakhstan have already received the keys to new housing. The premiere of Moldanazar's music video "QARANGYDA" took place at the event. The author of the song describes the feelings and emotions experienced by children who grew up without parental love and care. Then the guests of the evening were shown a film of "Sabi" Foundation about the children from "Meirim" Center and about the participants of our project "Youth" and what role our projects have played in improving the quality of their lives. Then followed performances of famous Kazakhstans musical groups Tynyq, Kunzharyq, Qonyratbay fam, Orynkhan and Moldanazar.

It should be noted, that the guests of the evening could not only enjoy the wonderful music and performances of artists, but also participate in fundraising by making donations by means of qr-code. A significant part of the collection was made up of the money raised from the sale of tickets to the concert. In support of the fund, an auction was also held, where an exclusive OYU brand record and Galymzhan Moldanazar's ukulele were put up for sale. Galymzhan wrote his famous song "Ozin Gana" on this ukulele. 

At the end of the charity event it was possible to collect 6,139,000 tenge. All the funds collected on this day were donated to the needs of the Center for Social Adaptation of Youth "Meirim". The center "Meyirim" was built and donated by "Sabi" Foundation in 2017. The center is designed for residence and employment of graduates of orphanages aged 16 to 29 years old. Thus, after leaving the orphanage, former inmates stay in special social conditions for a long time and can painlessly adapt to normal life. 
Among the pupils there are many children who are fond of music and this theme is very close to them. But, especially inspired by the attention and creativity of Galymzhan Moldanazar, the children decided to study music even more and more diligently. After such a lively interest of children to creativity and the idea to open here a music studio with all necessary equipment (synthesizer, projector, interactive panel, guitars, dombras, microphones, speakers, etc.). We hope that this initiative will open the way to creative life for them

In addition, the children are engaged in various sports. They especially enjoy curling, soccer and basketball. They take part in championships, win them and take prizes. To support the children's interest in sports, we allocated part of the money for the purchase of sports equipment. We believe that this will inspire the guys to new victories. 
Also, part of the money was used to buy household and computer equipment. Improvement of everyday conditions and quality of life of the children living in the center "Meirim" is one of the permanent tasks in our agenda.

The total amount of funds raised as a result of the campaign amounted to 6,139,000 tenge, of which 4,089,000 tenge were raised from the sale of tickets to the concert, 1,700,000 – thanks to the auction, the lots of which included Galymzhan Moldanazar's ukulele and an exclusive Oyu brand record with a collection of Kazakhstani music, 350,000 tenge were donated by philanthropists via QR code.

100% of the proceeds will be directed by the Foundation to help young people without parental care from the Meyirim Center for Social Adaptation of Youth in the city of Aktobe.

At the evening dedicated to the premiere of Galymzhan Moldanazar’s new video Qarangyda, which tells the story of a little boy’s life in an orphanage, a film by the Saby Foundation about the children from the Meyirim Center for Social Adaptation of Youth, which was built by our foundation in the city of Aktobe and about the participants of our “Youth” project – to support graduates of orphanages in purchasing housing were also shown.

A charity auction was also organized with such lots as: a ukulele by Galymzhan Moldanazar, as well as an exclusive record of the OYU brand, containing a collection of Kazakh music and signed by all the artists included in the tracklist.

The evening continued with performances by famous Kazakh musical groups Tynyq, Kunzharyq, Qonyratbay Fam, Orynkhan, Moldanazar.

All funds collected as a result of the charity event will be used to help the Meyirim Center for Social Adaptation of Youth.

Over the years, we have organized charity evenings with such famous world brands as Dior, Messika and Damiani, as a result of which a total of about $ 300,000 was raised for the implementation of the Emergency Children's Surgery project.

Last year in Almaty, together with the cult jewelry house Bvlgari, we held an exclusive charity evening and an auction with the participation of Gennady Golovkin, Andrey Zvyagintsev and Zubaira Tukhugov. The proceeds – 210,632,000 tenge – were used to build an emergency children's surgery in the city of Petropavlovsk.

Continuing the tradition of holding large-scale fundraising events and cooperation with the Bvlgari house, a luxurious concert of the world-famous opera diva Hibla Gerzmava took place at the Almaty Theater yesterday. President of the Saby Foundation Aselle Tasmagambetova personally greeted all the spectators from the stage of the theater and made a heartfelt speech, thanking everyone who takes part in charity.

Then the hall was completely captured by the owner of the stunningly beautiful soprano Hibla Gerzmava, who performed with a magnificent program of Italian classics, accompanied by the Astana Ballet Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Arman Urazgaliev. The audience gave a standing ovation to the performing arts of the outstanding singer and musicians.

After the concert, an exquisite charity evening was also held with patrons and old friends of the Foundation, the funds from which will be transferred to the construction of an emergency children's surgery in the city of Atyrau.

Since 2019, we have committed ourselves to the renovation of all houses in the Children’s Village of Almaty. To date, major repairs have been made in 11 out of 12 cottages. In addition, all houses are fully equipped with new household appliances and furniture.

Recently, on the International Mother’s Day, we funded the purchase of care and cosmetic kits for caregivers working in SOS children’s villages in Almaty, Nur-Sultan and Temirtau.

Pleasant gifts were received by 43 mothers who provide full-fledged care and upbringing of children left without parental care.

The crowdfunding action for the support of the children's hospice through our Foundation was supported by influencers Beibit Alibekov, Alisher Yelikbayev and businessmen Maxim Sarsenov, Ruslan Idrissov and Yerkin Dlimbetov.

The funds raised as part of the action were transfered to purchase a fully equipped mobile medical laboratory based on the Hyundai H350 car, as well as additional equipment – artificial lung ventilation apparatus, inhalation device, automated blood cell counter, portable ultrasonic imaging system.

Moreover, thanks to Astana Motors, which made us a significant discount on the car, it was possible to finance another important project of the Palliative Care Center called "Baby, I'm with you." The goal of the project is to help young mothers of immature infants and newborns with various pathologies. Especially for them, the institution buys and packs kits with articles of daily necessity: clothes, diapers, baby food, toys, personal care products, medicines and much more besides for the first 6 months after the birth of the child.

110 sets for 5,500,000 KZT will become a real support for women in difficult life situations, with social problems and lack of minimum funds for the maternity hospital discharge, the child support and care in the first months of his/her life.

Thus, the total amount of support provided to the children's hospice amounted to 47,457,544 KZT.

Crowdfunding allows anyone to join a particular project by donating a certain amount for its implementation. Currently, this kind of donation is widespread in developed countries. Collective levies can be significant and serve a variety of purposes, from helping those in need to funding start-ups and political campaigns.

In Kazakhstan, crowdfunding is developing to a greater extent in the field of charity. With the initiative to participate in the projects of the Saby Foundation, we are often approached by private companies, individuals or bloggers who organize charitable gatherings together with their subscribers. We are grateful for the trust and value the reputation of a reliable operator for the implementation of the most ambitious programs.

We believe that a person who wants to be involved in charity should have such an opportunity, therefore we have developed various ways for philanthropists to donate and we gratefully accept every tenge.

An excellent example was the recent fundraising for the needs of the Center for Palliative Care for Children "I am with you" (children's hospice). The Center is a beneficiary of the Saby Foundation for several years. For several years, we have been providing versatile support to the institution, which currently has 289 children living in Almaty City and Almaty Region.

Well-known bloggers Beibit Alibekov and Alisher Elikbaev organized gatherings on their social networks so that as many Kazakhstanis as possible could take part in charity, and we, in turn, offered to help the hospice with this money. In a short time, bloggers' friends and subscribers collected an impressive amount of 25,831,544 tenge. This charitable action was supported by businessmen Maxim Sarsenov, Ruslan Idrisov and Yerkin Dlimbetov. Together with their subscribers, they collected 21,626,000 KZT.

For these amounts, a reanimobile for emergency medical care and the necessary medical equipment were purchased for the hospice. They will be soon officially transferred to the institution.

Today our Foundation organized a charity concert for young patients of the Almaty Regional Children Clinical Hospital in the village of Otegen Batyr, Almaty Region.

The children watched the “Cinderella” fairy tale painted with sand to the accompaniment of classical musical instruments in a live performance of a professional team of actors.

The children who undergo medical treatment at various departments of the hospital were very pleased with the musical performance, because not every family can buy a ticket for a child at the cost of 7,000 tenge. Our Foundation organized a concert, which parents and medical staff of the hospital could also watch completely free of charge.

We will try to such events more often, because small but sincere familiarizing with beauty and art, culture, attention is so necessary for both children and adults.

Saby Charitable Foundation launched the receipt of charitable payments by QIWI payment terminals (at that time- OSMP) in April 2011. It became possible for the volunteers, who want to make donations to people in need, to do it quickly and effectively not wasting their personal time practically.

Notwithstanding that the amount of majority payments seemed to be small at first sight, the amount of your donations for the past 5 years constituted almost 1,000,000 tenge. This fact confirms our position again: each tenge is important, and together we are powerful!

Accumulating all received donations on a special account our Foundation could realize the great objectives:
– in 2013, a set for physiotherapy for children with neurological disorders and a set of manual masseur were purchased for the Infant Home of Kyzylorda city;

– in 2013, special stove for sterilization and disinfection of medical appliances and sterilizing drums were purchased for the Infant Home of Karakestek village of Almaty region;

– in 2015, training device for rehabilitation and laptop for work at home were presented to a young resident of Petropavlovsk city- disabled person of group I;

– in 2015, 8 sets of furniture for play and dining room were purchased for the Infectious Diseases Hospital for Children of Almaty City;

– in 2015, the annual reserve of stationery were purchased for the Rehabilitation Center for Children of Almaty city.

As a result, we tried to derive maximal benefit from each tenge, received from you, and the geography of your philanthropy is quite great!
